Introduction

Attached debugging is a very effective tool for ironing out any kinks we may have with our code. But the current implementation requires switching to our IDE to start the debugger every time we launch the project.

This quickly becomes a usability issue, especially as we often don’t require the deep insight that the debugger provides. Unfortunatly disabling the debugger requires delving into the project settings, a short but frequent detour.

This is where the Toggle Wait For Mono Debugger plugin comes in.

Update

There were a few issues with this plugin that won’t be fixed. Please use Exts’ MonoDebuggerQM instead.
